Malabar Gold launches Mine jewellery brand

Kerala-based Malabar Gold has teamed up with Mahendra Brothers to launch a new jewellery brand entitled Mine, says a reported posted in the World Gold Council web site.

The exclusive brand will go on sale in Malabar Gold showrooms across south India and the United Arab Emirates.

Under the new joint venture, Mahindra Brothers Malabar Gold, the two companies are combining their expertise in gold and diamond fine jewellery to produce the new line.

Launched in Bangalore, the gold and diamond jewellery range includes bridal items and custom made designs.

MP Ahammed, chairman of Malabar Gold, told Indiantelevision.com: "Mahendra Brothers has a strong legacy of producing the best diamonds and diamond jewellery and combined with our retailing strength, we want to create a platform for a great consumer experience."

Based in Kerala, India, retail chain Malabar Gold has a total of 25 stores and sells exclusive collections including world class designer jewellery from Italy, Turkey, Korea, Bahrain and Singapore, traditional jewellery, the Mughal Royal Collection, Karachi Bangles and the Sania Collection
